What Happens Now?
We will reply by e-mail to complete our contract and confirm your booking. Deposit and balance Invoices will be raised and dispatched by e-mail to you.
Deposit payment (if required) is part of the booking confirmation procedure and should be paid within 7 days to ensure this booking on the required date is confirmed.
Balance of payment is due before, or on the day of performance. Late payments will be subject to an interest payment. This interest and an administration charge will be levied and claimed under Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Sean Goodman, Simply Magic – Terms and Conditions
i. In the event of the cancellation of a performance due to reasons caused by the client or their representative, a cancellation charge will apply as detailed in iii below.
ii. In the unlikely event of a performance being cancelled by Sean Goodman, Simply Magic for reasons not caused by the client or their representative, all monies paid will be returned.
iii. The booking made herein will only become valid and confirmed upon receipt of a fully completed booking form or detailed email and (if applicable) a deposit as specified in paragraph iv. below. The balance of payment or full payment is due on the performance date unless otherwise agreed. Late payments will be charged interest in accordance with The Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Rate of Interest) (No. 3) Order 2002. Late payments will be subject to an administration fee. Late payments will be also subject to an interest payment at the official dealing rate of the Bank of England (the base rate) + 8%. This interest will be charged and claimed under Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
If a confirmed booking is cancelled, the following charges will apply;
· Cancellation over 6 months prior to performance – 25% of agreed fee
· Cancellation between 3 and 6 months prior to performance – 50% of agreed fee
· Cancellation under 3 months prior to performance – 100% of agreed fee.
In the event of a cancellation, the person detailed in the booking form as ‘the organiser’ or the originator of the booking email will be responsible for payment of the appropriate cancellation fee.
iv. A non refundable part-payment is required for all performances, unless otherwise stated. Should a performance be cancelled by the client, then the deposit will be forfeited in addition to the cancellation charges mentioned in viii above.
v. These terms and conditions may be enforced by legal action.
